Our strip till manufacturing story

Lynx was born in 2013 as a family owned and operated manufacturing business that sought to meet a need for a more commercial strip till row unit. What started as a vision to build row units quickly morphed into what has now become the largest manufacturer of complete strip till equipment in the US. Lynx began building strip till equipment at Lance and Abby Glendenning’s 4,800 square foot farm shop 1 mile West of Churdan, Iowa, and continues to operate on the same site. Over the years the shop space has expanded to over 80,000 square feet. Lynx also recently purchased land to the West of the current facility with the vision of adding a 160,000 square foot facility in 2028.

In 2025 Lynx entered a strategic partnership with Maschio Gaspardo of Italy whereby Lance and Abby Glendenning sold 5% of Lynx to Maschio Gaspardo of Italy and Lynx purchased 30% of Maschio Gaspardo USA. The sole purpose of this partnership is to develop a planter line to bring to the US market utilizing the advanced seeding unit technology developed by Maschio Gaspardo of Italy and the manufacturing and toolbar design capacity of Lynx. This diversification will benefit our employees, dealers, and customer base. We have appreciated the Maschio family and team and look forward to future growth together.
